Mother and Two Children Missing from Doodhbowli, Hyderabad: Police Issue Look Out Notice

In a concerning development from Hyderabad, the Kamatipura Police have issued a Look Out Notice for a woman and her two children who went missing from their residence in Doodhbowli on July 23, 2025.
According to official police sources, the missing individuals are Geetha Markanda, wife of Markanda Bhuyan, and their two daughters: Durgarani (15) and Tulsi (9). The complaint was lodged by Mr. Bhuyan, a 34-year-old private employee originally from Orissa, who has been residing with his family in Welcome Galli, near Ganesh Temple, for the past 15 years.
Mr. Bhuyan reported that his wife Geetha had been active on Instagram for the last 2–3 years and frequently engaged with social media content such as selfies and reels. On the afternoon of July 23, she informed him over the phone that she was taking their daughters to Charminar in search of a job. When they failed to return by 8:00 PM and her phone was found switched off, he approached the Kamatipura Police Station to file a missing complaint.
Highlight: The police have circulated the details of the missing woman and her children to all SHOs across the twin cities, urging them to maintain vigilance and report any sightings immediately.
The missing child Tulsi, aged 9, was last seen wearing a pink Punjabi dress. She is described as having a medium complexion and standing approximately 4.2 feet tall. She speaks Oriya, Telugu, and Hindi.
